CROSSTALK is filling a very important need in providing information on the timely events and situations that exist in our nation and therefore in our communities.

The issues and in-depth discussion of issues on CROSSTALK are most critical to America. CROSSTALK gives our listeners information and views they would never hear from the secular media.
WDFB - Danville, KY
VCY's CROSSTALK with Vic Eliason has daily and consistently enlightened the listening audience with information on all levels and strata in an attempt to "rouse up" the "sleeping Christian Giant" in our country to intercessory prayer and action. It is absurd that the battle fought and won for our freedoms by our Godly forefathers would again need to be waged.....We, as Christians must take our rightful places and responsibilities and raise up the Christian flag in this ONE CHRISTIAN NATION UNDER GOD!

First, let me say that I am and have always been against abortion. But, that was never the point I was making in my original post. The point I was trying to make which you, in a way, did for me was how can we protect the lives of one group while ignoring the lives of another. As God said in the Old Testiment...."Thou Shalt Not Kill" or specifically, MURDER. As for abortion, it's just irresponsible aside from morally wrong. But...it is LEGAL and is used by political hacks who have a totally different agenda and use this issue to sidetrack people. There is a lot more going on than meets the eye and I hate to see people sucked into the "liberal" vs. "conservative" crap as that's exactly what it is...CRAP! This is junk started by the likes of the dozens of talk show hacks who don't know they're collective butt's from a hole in the ground but act like they do. And people buy into the junk because there is no counter to it by people who may really have researched the answer(s). Ideas are only good or bad and labels only confuse the issues. I see too much politics on this site which is unfortunate because it should be about our relationship with God and Christ. Not about political agendas.
I am curious though...where besides God's ten commandments did Jesus refer to abortion?
Also, you might want to re-read my original post without pre-conceived notions You may get more of the points I was trying to make.
Thanks for your comments.

I am replying to "here we go again". Perhaps the killing of 4000 innocent American Children each and every day isn't an important issue to you but it is very important to me. What would Jesus say?? Well lets start with the 10 commandments to start with, "Thou shalt not kill." This is referring to an innocent person. Of course your argument will be, but look at all the people who have died in the Iraq war. It is only a little drop in the bucket compared to the # of innocent people that Sadam Husein was killing and maming. The Iraqi People were begging for america to intervene and we did. the war would be over by now if the liberal news media would report the news rather than their twisted liberal view. Every time our liberal poloticians and news media blast away at the war they just generate more fuel for the terrorists. Why do you think the terrorists want Barrack Obama voted in as President? They want to take control of Iraq and murder people by the millions. Then they'll be coming for us in America. It is the terrorists who have been killing Americans and Iraqis and If we pull out it will only escalate. Maybe that's what you want. You don't seem to mind that 4000 babies are killed every day in the USA. Why shouldn't it be the concern of every American to stop the killing of innocent children through abortion? If the neighbor next door is planning to kill her 2 day old baby should I try to stop it or say, "It's really none of my business what she wants to do with her baby?" What difference does it make if that baby is in the womb or out of the womb? It's still a baby and if it's wrong to kill it when it's 2 days old then it's wrong to kill it before it's born. It's my responsibility to do everything I can to stop it.

Here we go again....

Let me just say simply, we really need to get past the abortion debate. IT IS LEGAL for a woman to get an abortion and has been for decades. If it were illegal, many would still do it as they did in the past. While I think abortion isn't right and think that we should find easier alternatives, it isn't my choice to make.
When Obama (or as B. House stated, Barrack Hussein Obama) said it was above his pay grade he was interjecting humor into a contentious debate. The reality is that it is above all of our pay grades. Having an abortion (legal or not) is between the person having it and God. Just like many of the SIN's we commit. We all will eventually answer to our selfishness and stupidity in a forum that will judge us wisely and correctly.
What really gets me is that while many politicians are wanting to reverse the legality of abortion, they are more than willing to kill the already born through unnecessary wars. We killed hundreds of thousands of innocent God loving people because we had to go into Iraq for what has turned out to be a big lie. It was finally about oil........So...let all the angry white guys protect the unborn while the kill the born.....SMART.....VERY SMART!!!
We can't take another four years of the type of garbage we've been through for the last eight. A virtual police state, unnecessary war, huge increases in spending while stupidly cutting taxes....on and on.
Again...I detest abortion but I'm never going to need one. It's not up to me to tell women how to run their lives.
What would Jesus say???? I don't know.
I wish He were here to advise us although most Christians haven't lisened to Him for the last 2000 years. Would they listen now?
I thought Sen Obama was thoughful in his answers to all the questions while Sen. McCain was his typical "knee jerk" sounding self. I'm sure he was able to plan the answers ahead of time to appease the hateful angry white guys among us that believe the so called conservative rhetoric.
I would like to see someone who is thoughtful and measured in response to our countries problems. In his comments about the Supreme Court Obama talked about the court giving too much power to the Executive branch of our government. THIS IS TRUE and we must not let it continue. Abortion will eventually pale compared to our total loss of our individual freedon. When it finally happens, it'll be too late to change it.
I'll be even more painfully honest when I say that I don't think most politicians really give a darn about abortion one way or the other. It's just a good way to get off the topics that really do have a big impact on the average American.
