What do you think of how Rick Warren told hundreds of thousands of people how they could go to heaven? Was his presentation Biblical or Not? If you think it was then please provide the Scripture to back up your claim.
I heard he signed that muslim-Christian alliance papers

along with a lot of liberal theologians which downplays the divinity of Christ and sounds kind of one world churchish to me.

This is an accurate summation of the interview as it aired

I happened to watch (and record) this interview when it first aired. This clip is an accurate summation of Warren's answer to the question about how to GET to heaven (he was not talking about living the Christian life as some others have questioned) and reflects his total lack of understanding of what the Bible says on this issue. Unfortunately, many have followed his "self-help" styled theology and that only to their spiritual detriment.

My Journey Into and Out of the Emergent Church
An Ex-Catholic's Warning about the Emergent Movement
Posted On: Feb 20, 2008 03:02 pm Age 51, LA
The Lord spoke to me, early teens while sitting in a Roman Catholic Church waiting for Mass to begin, "there's something wrong here, get out of this church", I had never read a bible or met a born again Christian, ever! From age 24 to 28 I studied and questioned after God's Word & "biblically" born again at 28. Began studying Scripture & Roman Catholicism shortly after, amazed at the level of contradiction between the two, continued by studying other denominations that "profess" to be Christian, Jehovah's Witnesses, the Mormons, Name It/Claim It, Health/Wealth Charismatics, any "infant baptizing" denomination, etc., etc., suspicious of Rick Warren, angered by the acceptance of "The Passion" movie, then introduced to a book by Brian McLaren a couple of years ago, "red flags went up". I was appalled at the "subtle" introductions to Roman Catholic rituals: incense, icons, labyrinths, candles, "stations" of prayer, pictures, prayer walks, praising the Catholic Desert Fathers & nuns who were "pagan" mystics, as well as, many New Age/Hindu/Buddhist, etc. teachings. Brian McLaren is playing right into the hands of the Roman Catholic hierarchy, for all to come under the banner "control" of the pope & Holy Mother Church, still believed to be "THE ONLY ONE TRUE CHURCH". Be warned, this is truly the end-time deception spoken of in Scripture. As one of the remaining "True Remnant", I will not go down without a fight! Addie K. Miller

Gary Bauer: Burnt Toast?
A man is known by the company he keeps?
Posted On: Feb 11, 2008 02:29 pm Age 41, KS
Is it true that Gary Bauer and his family vaction with Bill Kristol? I have heard this from two people that know Gary personally. I think Bill Kristol's father was Irving Kristol the father of the Neo-Conservatives right? The Son Bill is for sure a neo-con so perhaps Gary is now a neo-con. What is that saying? Birds of a feather folk together?

Breaking News! Has Focus on the Family, its State Affiliates and other Pro-Family Groups Been Influenced by Romney Money?
Agent X
Posted On: Feb 08, 2008 10:59 am Age 54, VA
Some of you have missed the point about the story of how Romney gave money to all kinds of conservaive Chritan groups. It's not that he gave this money -- we all expected that -- its that this money compromised these groups. Many of these very same groups released false info about Romney or at the very least went silent about his ultra liberal record. Even when Romney told CNN he favors gay rights last week, not one major Christian leader said a word. This is not good for us as a movement as the grass roots relies on these groups for accurate information about the candidates. We should all be praising this website for having the guts to expose leaders who have hidden agendas. We need new leaders but first we need to expose corrupt existing leaders.

Dr. Dobson Should Have Taken His Own Advice
Agent X
Posted On: Feb 06, 2008 08:18 pm Age 55, VA
As someone who knows the inner workings of FOTF, everyone needs to know that they jumped in bed with Romney months ago. It was a calculated plan involving many of Dobson's staff. They made sure he saw exaggerated negative items about Huckabee and saw only positive things about Romney. They manuevered him to bash Huckabee a few months ago and then bash McCain two days ago, leaving Focus supporters with the implication that Romney must be one of us. Infomation about how Romney initiated gay marraige in Massachusets, how he endorsed gay rights two weeks ago, his Iranian investments and how he left Massachusetts with a billion dollar deficit and the worst economy outside of Lousiana, etc, etc, was all kept away from him. Dobson is an intellectual who prefers working on books but he depends on his staff for all his information. Sadly, he has allowed himself to be used by others and has unknowningly removed himself from a leadership position in the conservative movement. People also need to know that Romney's PAC and Foundation contributed millions of dollars to conservative and/or Christian organizations all over America in a massive effort to buy support or silence from many leaders who would normally be critical of Romney. The Heritage Foundation, Focus Affiliates, Right to Life affiliates, state-based pro-family groups and even publications like National Review all took money from the Romney empire. Sadly, most of our "leadership" took the money.

Imprisoned Pastor Not Living His Best Life Now....Joel Osteen......Help!
Be Careful
Posted On: Jan 22, 2008 01:03 am Age 33, TN
Brother in Christ, This site is relevant in spreading truth. Let's keep the articles Cross Centered. Your disdain for Joel Osteen is obvious, and your comments are a bit off base. I would challenge you to write in a way that challenges the reader's mindset without misrepresenting quotes from a book. I too honor our missionairies and martyrs, but not at the expense of any minister, whether I agree with them or not.

Erwin McManus’ False Teachings (Part Two)
I agree
Posted On: Jan 18, 2008 11:42 am Age 52, CA
I attended a Mosaic church plant for 7 months. I ended up there mainly because a bunch of my friends were there after the church we were attending went through some drastic changes. Mosaic seems so great on the surface. I really enjoyed it at first. Then I started to realize that the message was always the "positive gospel". It was sort of like "you are great, but with Christ you can be even better". Besides attending the church, I started listening to sermons by Erwin and reading his books. I was shocked in one sermon when faced with the question is there a hell? Erwin said he preferred to dwell on the positive, not the negative. In other words he refused to answer the question. When asked is Christ the only way, he indicated that Christ is the only one that truly loves you, so why not go towards the love. These are just 2 of the truck load of reasons that caused me to leave Mosaic. There is not enough room to list the rest. There was so much error that I had to leave.I went back to the denomination that I came from and so glad I did. It's so good to hear the whole gospel on a regular basis. It is so nice to experience God's presence again. I am glad to be back home.

Poltically Correct Osteen Does It Again: Why Does This Guy Call Himself A Pastor?
Relies on self
Posted On: Jan 03, 2008 01:00 pm Age 35, GA
I notice that Joel Osteen likes to "look within himself" alot for answers. He said he spends the first half hour of each day looking within himself to see if he is on the right track? Does he ever talk to God to find answers? Does he look to scriptures at all to look for answers? How can someone who does not rely on God and His Word be called a "Pastor"?

As an Ex Mormon now a Christian. I am appalled at Joel Osteen but then he is like Billy Graham, just interested in fame and popularity. The Mormon belief system has no common ground whatsoever with biblical Christianity. Joel Osteen along with other false preachers will have to answer to God one-day for leading many to hell. He doesn't even preach the gospel anyway.
