When listening to Barack Obama one can’t help but be impressed. Now by impressed I do not mean that I feel anything good. In fact I feel just the opposite. Obama makes a strong impression of who he is and what he really believes, and that is scary! The masses seem to be moved by his speaking skills and yet they do not listen to what he is saying. Obama gave a speech declaring himself the Democratic nominee after the final primary. In his speech he made it very clear where he is coming from. Let’s look at a few things he said he would do;
<!--[if !supportLists]-->
“pass an energy policy that works with automakers to raise fuel standards, and makes corporations pay for their pollution, and oil companies invest their record profits in a clean energy” <!--[endif]-->
Obama wants to “make oil companies invest their profits in clean energy.” Who does he think he is? Carl Marx? What gives him the right to tell companies what to do with their profits? He has no constitutional right to dictate to a company where they “invest” their money. This mind set is not about change. It is about communism and that has been around a long time. Obama speaks with fine oratory skills and yet if you take time to go beyond the fluff you see what he really believes. There is nothing new in his views. It is the same warmed over communist garbage that places people under government tyranny.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->
“we owe it to our children to invest in early childhood education; to recruit an army of new teachers and give them better pay and more support; to finally decide that in this global economy, the chance to get a college education should not be a privilege for the wealthy few, but the birthright of every American. That's the change we need in America. That's why I'm running for president.”<!--[endif]-->
Since when is it the federal governments job to “recruit an army of new teachers and give them better pay and more support?” The federal government is constantly trying to stick its nose where it has no right to. Education is failing because we don’t have enough teachers? Is he for real? Education is failing because it has become indoctrination camps of political correctness and liberal thinking. There is no discipline and the family has broken down. Wake up Mr. Obama! Obama wants the government to indoctrinate children from infancy (See his web site for his idea of infant care and education). Obama also makes it clear that he wants the federal government to pay for all college education since in his words it is a “birth right.”
Barak Obama is nothing more than an excellent speaker who uses his abilities to fool the masses into thinking he is all about good change.In truth, Obama is not about changing things for the better. The change he is about is the dismantling of our free enterprise economy and the intense increase in Marxist policies in government. The change he is for is the furtherance globalist mindset.
Obama says that he did not know what the philosophy of his church was. He says that he did not know about Rev. Wright’s views. In truth Obama is either completely clueless (and that is not possible) or he is not being honest. The fact is that Obama has been under the influence of Rev. Wright and the culture of his church for twenty years. His church follows “Black Liberation Theology.” This ideology is nothing more than Marxism with some Christian terms thrown in to confuse the followers. Obama attended, was a member of, and financially supported a Marxist organization called Trinity United Church. It is obvious that
Obama was influenced by the Marxist leaders he sat under, and now he is making it clear by his declarations of dictating where a company will invest and not invest. Anyone who knows the Constitution of the United States of America cannot vote for Obama. He is a hard socialist at best and at worst a communist.
I know some who read this will conclude that I am in favor of the Republicans. That conclusion would be wrong. I have made it very clear that I am not supporting The Republican nominee. This article is not about the Republicans. This article is about Obama. If it is change from the Constitution you want, then vote for Obama. If it is change from freedom to more government tyranny, vote for Obama. If you want more babies aborted, vote Obama. I just want you to know that if you vote Obama and he wins you will have change. The problem is just that, after he is done destroying our freedom, raising taxes, and implementing more socialism, you will have change….perhaps a few nickels and dimes…change is all you will have left!

I have noticed a lot of backlash against the
republican party. Some are now voting for
Obama just to teach republicans a lesson.
Some Christians will vote for Obama because
they have always been a democrat. Some won't
vote at all. My fellow christian brothers
and sisters, that is a mistake. I'm sorry
I can't remember exactly where in the Bible
but God tells us to elect leaders with
christian morals/values. He is not asking
or suggesting, God COMMANDS us to do so.
Let me say I'm not that thrilled about
the voting choice we have. However, I ask you this:
Our Declaration Of Independence was overwhe-
lmingly based on the Bible ie: God's word.
It says ALL HAVE THE RIGHT to Freedom,
Liberty, Justice and what else? L I F E!
ALL HAVE THE RIGHT TO LIVE.
THIS INCLUDES THE UNBORN! If it doesn't,
please tell me exactly where in the Bible
God says this excludes the unborn.
Obama is for pro choice, ie: death.
McCain is pro life, ie: Gods Law.
You will show God if you are a true Christian on election day.
There is no grey area here. Also the next
President will most likely be installing
two supreme court justices of which
will either be Pro Death- Obma
or Pro Life- McCain. Sometimes the truth
hurts but it's your duty to LIVE the TRUTH! Click here to reply to this post
Pro-Life is a wedge issue

The right had the house, senate and white house for 4 years and did NOTHING about abortion. They could have, but it would take away that wedge issue that keeps evengelicals in there corner. There will never be anything done about it, we have to realize that and stop voting for these crooks that don't care at all about our values. Our god is not the Republican party and we have to stop looking to them as that and vote on ALL the platforms not just 1 or 2. Click here to reply to this post

Both these guys are equally disgusting. It would not be the Christian thing to do to vote for either one. George Cancilla Click here to reply to this post

I am sick of this "Vote repbublican or we will go socialist!" Bot parties are criminals. McCain wants to expand our current gospel of bons & bullets without any plan top pay for it. That alone is enough to not vote for him. All his other polices are right along the line of the socialists anyway. My vote will be either for a 3rd party of I will write in "None of the above" Remember that the GOP was once a third party on the fringe. It is time to fire both parties. Dr. Berman, thank you for an excellent article. I agree with nearly all of it; very well stated. You have expressed my sentiments in your words. However, the first 3-4 sentences of the last paragraph should be deleted. I'll forget the vagueness and generalities and cut to the chase: I don't like John McCain either, but I will vote for him because a vote for Ron Paul or someone else will essentially be a vote for Obama, and my conscious will not allow that to happen. I have heard all of the arguments, and I am fully aware that I will have to stand before God some day. Many people say they will not vote for the "lesser of the evils." There will probably never be a candidate who is a totally upright Christian - even Huckabee had issues. Staying home on election day is shameful, and allowing Obama to win by voting for someone who is going to lose is shameful. Click here to reply to this post

Instead of working overtime to see which party can exploit U.S. citizens better and harder than the other, (their pretend opposition and political playacting is exactly like watching fake professional wrestling on TV), we should be looking for Congressmen and a President outside the two party system who will be a part of the solution rather than a part of our problems. After years of two-party collaboration that has undermined freedom, democracy, peace and prosperity, the US electorate should see the same fiscal irresponsibility and behemoth growth of government that can be attributed equally to both Republicans and Democrats. We do have a choice instead of the “lesser of two evils” political mentality. Chuck Baldwin is a candidate for President that presents a clear alternative to violence and corporate oppression. We can stand up courageously and cast our vote for a person who most closely matches our ideologies, or hold our nose with one hand while we push the button for one of the Republican or Democrat corporate tools with the other. I think it would be best to start with the Congress. I mean, what chance would a Baldwin administration have of getting much done with a House and Senate controlled either by a party that is openly opposed to the policies needed to turn the country back to its roots and/or a party that only pays lip-service when it's campaign time or when a member is called to task. I agree that the majority of Congress will not go along with changes that are necessary to bring liberty and prosperity to the people. My main objective is to turn people away from the idea that they have to go along with either one party or another. But the corruption in our government is so deep and colluded it would literally take a miracle to bring it around to honestly serving the people. So let us pray. No Room for "Take my Ball and go home" attitude

Sir,
If I am interpreting your last paragraph correctly, then the following comments are in order. If not, then I apologize for the tone of this message.
In this upcoming election, there is no such choice as "taking your ball and going home" if you are not happy with any of the candidates. If you vote for an Independent candidate, you will waste your vote and your voice. No one will notice. But what will be noticed is the lack of unity of the Republican party. By default, and perhaps by the sad act of many having the same 'attitude', Obama will seize the Presidency. As a military veteran of 23 years, I implore you NOT to take that approach. It is 100% selfish at its best, and at its worst, it is frankly, downright ignorant. A vote for an independent is essentially a vote for Obama, simple math. Click here to reply to this post
Ignorance and selfishness

Ignorance is when you can't see that it hasn't mattered whether or not the President of the U.S. has been either Republican or Democrat for the last several decades, that the best interests of the citizens have not been served. They have all served the interests of monopoly capitalists and Wall street bankers. The current problems of U.S. citizens will not be solved by a McCain presidency any more than an Obama presidency. Selfishness is the insistence on a two party political system that has progressively destroyed the fabric of our society that by our stubborness we leave the legacy of an extremely corrupt government to our children. Did it ever occur to you that God might honor a vote for an honest, decent independent presidential candidate, even if that person wasn't perfect. I feel certain God will not honor a vote for a criminal, no matter what party. George Cancilla Click here to reply to this post

Do people not realize that both McCain and Obama are backed and advised by organizations/people who want to dismantle the sovereignity of the USA? Voting for McCain is like saying "I don't care about the future of America". Both McCain and Obama are commie-fascists, it won't matter if either one becomes president....they are malleable puppets run by their UN minded masters (i.e. the same people!). McCain is NOT pro-America, but pro world government. Propaganda flies out of his mouth just as much as Obama. Pro-life, I'll beleive that when pigs can fly.
Christians, "Righteousness exalteth a nation." Voting for evil, is EVIL, and does not take any fortitude or critical thinking either. The wide road leads to death......which is where our country is headed if people are brainwashed into believing McCain is a better choice!
Anyone still think George W Bush is on our side? Think again, he's not a Christian like he portrays himself to be. "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge....!" Hosea 4:6 The man has been going behind our backs to work on a North American Union and Christians out there will jump to defend him! Total denial, as well as idol worship...
