Habitat For Humanity Partners with Planned Parenthood

Habitat For Humanity Partners with Planned Parenthood

The Christian Post reports on Habitat for Humanity’s partnering with the great killing machine of our time, Planned Parenthood. The Crosstalk Show today featured Mark Crutcher, founder and president of Life Dynamics. His organization did an investigation that revealed the grisly trade in fetal body parts that is a part of the abortion industry. If you have never read his book, Lime Five, you should. Crutcher is one of the most articulate defenders of human life today. On Crutcher’s website, there is a counter that literally ticks off the human lives being lost each hour of every day. It is haunting to see the number climb as you watch it. Over 4400 children a day are murdered.

On a related note, late term abortionist/butcher, Dr. George Tiller, was feted by the governor of Kansas recently at a celebration of his “work”.  (This is the same governor, Kathleen Sibelius, who is being talked about as a potential running mate for Barack Obama.) Tiller will kill babies up at the latest stages of the mother’s pregnancy. He then incinerates the infants in his own furnace. One pro-life sidewalk counselor described what it was like to have the ashes of these babies fall on her as she stood as a witness outside his butcher shop. God can’t bless America when this bloodshed of the most vulnerable among us is tolerated.

Shane Claiborne, Jim Wallis, Brian McLaren and company want us all to be “just as concerned” about the polar bears and the ozone layer. They say the religious right is “too narrow”. Until the genocide of human babies stops, it isn’t going to matter what wildlife we save or how many greenhouse gases we curb. We, in this land of a gazillion Christian churches, have tolerated the butchering of nearly 50 million human beings, made in the image of God, and God will judge it. He already is judging it.

"How can an organization who gives the gift of hope and life partner with one that kills innocent babies?" babies are not innocent. they are sinners just like you and me. They come out of the womb sinners and full of sin just like you and me. There are none born innocent and without sin. Says so in the bible. Besides, where in habitat for humanity do they give the gift of life?? I thought they built houses.

comments with filthy language
Posted On: 06/04/08 11:33:15 AM Age 40, MO
This is a side comment to the 35 year old poster from GA., and the 24 year old poster from KS. The filthy language you both used to get your point across is not necessary, and frankly, doesn't help or add anything useful to the debate. It only points to immaturity on your part that you can't state your disagreements with the article without being vulgar. I, for one, didn't want to read anything else you had to say because the vulgarity made your comments less credible. It will probably be the same for many others who read it. So if you want to have an honest debate, you'll get further and sound more sensible if you debate with facts instead of ridicule with a potty mouth. Also, the website host allowed you to vent. Wouldn't common courtesy dictate better behavior, expecially on a site that's not yours? Disagreement, yes, anger, sure, filth, a waste of time. Just a thought.

  1. good for planned parenthood
    Posted On: 06/04/08 04:07:46 PMAge 48, TN
Great to hear habitat for humanity and Planned parenthood have teamed up. Thank god for Planned Parenthood. God knows we don't need thousands of unwanted babies on this planet... that's why he created the people that created planned parenthood. May abortion always be safe and legal... Thank you God! Even in old testament law, there is nowhere written that says a baby is counted as a person until after it is born. you guys use that "shall not kill" completely out of context. Even Job said he wished he had been aborted. (womb to tomb) And that's the ONLY time besides corinthians, that you will see abortion mentioned in the bible. AND neither reference says anything about it being wrong. I am a christian, saved by jesus, and I know there is nothing wrong with abortion. Why did god make plants and herbs that cause miscariages and then give (wo)man the knowledge to use them, if he didn't want women to have control of their own reproductive systems when man has no control over his libido? thank god for Comfrey, burdock, black cohosh... etc. etc. GOD knew exactly what he was doing when he made those plants and put them on the earth for women to use... to abort their unwanted babies. Now, in a modern society, we are given safe, sterile & LEGAL alternatives. Spiritual people invigorate me, Religious people infuriate me. Spiritual people enlighten me, Religious people frighten me. Get back to Jesus and quit being so religious.

I initially read your post with the impression that you were being sarcastic, but you appear to be serious! Life is precious from conception and God knows every human being before HE forms them in their mothers wombs - that's the teaching of the Bible.

    2. WE ARE TO GIVE ALL TO THE LORD JESUS
      Posted On: 06/05/08 12:15:37 PMAge 64, OH
The Lord Jesus Christ gave us a lot of things, ie, he gave us freewill. And Eve used this free will to bring about the death of the whole human race. Satan gave Eve a impulse or inspiration but we are not to obey our impulses but we are to obey God. The sons of God are those that follow The Holy Spirit and NOT THOSE WHO DO AS THEY THINK RIGHT. Life is NOT up to us but it is up to God. We should be looking to Him for ALL of our decisions and not making our own. Speaking of religious, your post does not seem to be permeated in love and forgiveness. But it sounds judgmental, the very thing you preach against. Lou

  1. IDIOT
    Posted On: 06/04/08 02:19:10 PMAge 64, OH
I have learned in life that a man who calls another a lair is usually a liar. One who is quick to call another a thief is often a thief. You call this man a IDIOT and you do not even bother to carefully identify him. Would not a man who calls another a IDIOT and not take care so no one would think he calls the wrong man a IDIOT be himself unwise. You may have some wisdom, but it is not apparent by your post here. I do not think you are an IDIOT, but you are acting a bit like one. Lou

stand up for truth!
Posted On: 06/03/08 11:37:17 AM Age 23, KS
It is amazing how people can harden their hearts to the point that they have no regard for human life. Interestingly enough, George Tiller attended the church that I attended in Wichita, KS when I was in the 7th grade. The pastor would not speak out against abortion because the Tillers gave a lot of money to the church. My family left that church because we could not attend a church that does not stand up for the truth. It is really sad to see such a man do what he does and then put on the "act" of going to church. What is even more sad is that the church allowed him to stay a member. Abortion is one of the most horrible crimes that this country allows. I believe God will judge America for the blatant killing of babies, homosexuality, and rebellion against God. It is time that churches stopped trying to be "politically correct" and to start loving God more than they love money. Krista

Not surprised

I am not surprised to see some sort of a wedding between Planned Parenthood and Habitat for Humanity. They are both communist inspired organizations. Hillary Clinton will be the first to tell us that "It takes a Village." George Cancilla

    Posted On: 06/04/08 09:16:58 AMAge 35, GA
Hey "Not Surprised", Explain to me how Habitat is a communist organization. I am sure you know next to nothing about them and have never been involved with them. Does affording everyone an honest chance at safe, affordable, dry homes make them a communist organization?! Get your head out of your suburban ass. I suppose you could not care less about people living in poverty and squalor while you drive in your Cadillac Escalade to your McMansion every day and hide yourself from reality. You bourgeousie piece of shit.

      Posted On: 06/04/08 02:35:18 PMAge 64, OH
You say, "I am sure you know next to nothing about them and have never been involved with them". Have you ever even met George who you call such names. How can you KNOW that he has never had anything to do with HFH. YOU ARE GUILTY OF THE WRONGS YOU ACCUSE THIS MAN OF. I do not call you a hypocrite, but you have made yourself one. George does not live in a mansion or drive an Escapade. But do you judge others by the material things in their life, such as cars. If you drive an 84 Escort, does that make you less of a man. You could be a woman but certainly not a lady, if you are not a man. The names you called George fall right back upon you. That is the nature of the act of hate and violence that you have done. Lou

Habitat For Humanity & Planned Parenthood
Posted On: 05/30/08 03:30:22 PM Age 67, WI
I would like to encourage your readers all over the USA to make copies of this article at your local copy shop and take them to your pastors asking them to place them in their Sunday bulletin. The public needs to know this about Habitat For Humanity. The Church is being duped by Habitat For Humanity. Edward Perkins Milwaukee, WI

This should NOT be a surprise...

After all, Jimmy Carter is a socialist liberal and has no semblance of reason or what is right and good for "humanity" or he wouldn't be an anti-semite apostate Christian.

Tiller the Killer
Posted On: 05/29/08 05:47:52 PM Age 50, SD
Kathleen Sebelious and her relationship with Tiller says a lot about her. She and Obama would make a good pair, the pro-death lobby would love them. As for Planned Parenthood, George Tiller and any other modern day worshipers of Molech, know this: Judgment is coming. More sure and unstoppable than a freight train. I know that it isn't "Christian", but I do sometimes wish Tiller and people like him would Rot in Hell. But that isn't my call. "Behold, I will bring such a catastrophe on this place, that whoever hears of it, his ears will tingle. Because they have forsaken Me and made this an alien place...and have filled this place with the blood of the innocents." Jeremiah 19:3-4.

Yea, I sent them a nasty letter spelling out the hypocracy of bettering lives while destroying others. But hey, they got the land for $10! With a deal like that the good just has to outweigh the bad, right? John

Habitat and Compassion

I believe I just read that Compassion and Habitat are working hand in hand. This is a sad day for Habitat to be involved but compromise seems to be the word for this time.
