Topic: The greatest enemy of the church and America is not Secular Humanism but pagan spirituality as represented by the New Age Movement and the Emergent Church. Secular Humanism is being replaced by Cosmic Humanism or the New Age Movement. Why? Because Secular Humanism did not deliver the Utopia promised but has created two world wars and the death of 200 million. Secular Humanism denies the soul, the conscience and thus can not address the guilt. Spiritual Paganism is all about removing the guilt. Human reasoning has left an entire generation groping in the dark while spiritualism gives the promise of enlightenment, the revelation of hidden knowledge. Secular Humanism has not infiltrated evangelical churches to any real degree but spiritualism is rushing in like a tsunami.

Pull up ITunes and click on Religious. There are two radio stations under religious called PAGAN. It describes them as "expand your mind, move your body, fill your (then it stops, but you can fill it in). Another is "New Conciousness Radio", described as being ecclectic. There is a Tibetan Buddhist station, all under the banner of "religion". Everyone is calling themselves religious or Christian now, mormons? Hello? The only thing that will make us stand out, is living Christianity and being true to the word of God. If we would stop being so wishy washy thinking God is soooo loving, not 'remembering' all of his attributes, which includes justice and righteousness, and HOLINESS. Click here to reply to this post

One of the slogans of the drug culture of the 60’s and 70’s was “Make Love, Not War.” The drug culture sought to replace the basic tenets of Christianity with a more instant and man induced nirvana. One of quickest ways to get in touch with the spiritual realm is by hypnosis, drugs, meditation, or visualization. Mediation and other methods are a very quick way to be introduced to a new world view, but it will certainly not be a Christian one. Coincidental to this time in history, the astrological Age of Pisces was turning over to the Age of Aquarius. The Age of Pisces was the age of conflict between opposing ideologies: dogmatic Christianity struggling against atheistic materialism, the Church against the state, science battling religion, and spirituality vs. materiality. The doctrine of the Age of Aquarius has to do with the synthesis of all authentic religions and systems of self-realization. In the Aquarian Age dogmatic types of Christianity will cease to be taught, and all dogmatic forms will disappear. People will be taught that both spirit and matter are derived from the same source, and are only modifications of the One Universal Energy. The New Age philosophy is about man cleansing himself by various mystical devices to achieve a golden age of utopia here on earth. The energy that is experienced by these mystical devices, or meditations is considered to be a supernatural/divine energy, and can be called by many names, but these energies are Luciferic. They are powerful, overwhelming and cannot be put aside. These energies can affect us like a junkie hooked on his high, and we think we have received enlightenment. These practices of visualization and meditation are not necessarily intended to change one’s religion, but to spiritually add to it. It’s about spirituality: a mystical worldview that can bring an experience of oneness with nature and with those from all religions. But God did not create man to become neutral in the mind. These cosmic spiritual practices can persuade us by a direct spiritual experience to deny Jesus is the only Christ and have us believe we too are Christ.
