It may have been a mistake to choose the title I did for part one of this article. I’m not sure it was seductive enough to get folks to read it. I added an alternative title on this part to reveal my true topic. Maybe people are more aware of modern communism than I think they are. I hope so, but regardless, we must come to understand the growing threat before us.
If we truly know what this threat is we will also know that Al Qaeda is not our main concern in the long run. The threat is a growing number of our own citizenry who have become Marxists, at least in their basic worldview. It is the enemy within the gates that poses the immediate threat.
In Part I, I shared some of the basic distinctions of American Marxists and how they are influencing our nation through the schools, the media, and government. History teaches us that it only takes a group of committed communists made up of about 10% of a nation’s population to potentially turn that nation into a communist state.
In America we may never suffer a Russian-style revolution. We may forego most of the bloodshed, but a revolution is certainly in the works right now.[1] The evidence is clear if you study it.
Will America ever become a hard dictatorship like we saw in the Soviet Union? Maybe not, but what is the difference if we are bound in the chains of ungodly, state-serving laws or at gunpoint? The results are the same.
The new Democratic Congress has revealed it’s Marxist flavoring even further just since I wrote Part I of this article a few weeks ago. Senate Bill 1, Section 220 has been introduced. This bill, if passed, will effectively prevent Christian ministries and nonprofits from urging their respective supporters to contact Congress on critical issues like Senate Bill 1.
Under this bill, in order for organizations to alert their supporters about potential legislative dangers, they would have to become an approved lobbying organization. This would cost a lot of money and require time consuming red tape hoop-jumping too. Did someone lose the First Amendment somewhere? The bottom line is our elected officials don’t want to hear from a lot of us, especially conservative Christians. The Christian community is, I guess in their minds, worldview flyover country.
This week, the Democrats have resurrected what was previously known as the “Hush Rush” bill. This is another attempt, as Sean Hannity and others predicted, to silence conservatives and Christians particularly because they dominate the radio airwaves. They dominate because people “choose” to listen to them. Imagine that!
This bill is supposedly based on the former “fairness doctrine.” It basically says that one side of an issue cannot dominate the airways. “We have to have balance,” is the plea from liberals who still think that their message isn’t getting out. It’s getting out all right. It is just that by choice most people don’t want to hear it.
So, if conservative talk radio dominates the airwaves, which it does, then this has to be compensated by equal amounts of liberal talk radio according to proponents of the doctrine. It doesn’t seem to matter that the majority of people don’t want to hear liberal talk radio, but they must anyway. Let see?Liberal NPR can’t support itself. It has to have government funds. Air America went bankrupt because not enough people want to listen and so on. But, we must be fair. We must listen anyway. I can’t wait.
What is suspiciously missing in the arguments for reinstating the fairness doctrine is any supposed application to the print media or national networks. NBC, CBS, ABC, and NPR would not apparently be affected. And neither would the major liberal (one-sided) news organs like the New York Times, LA Times, Washington Post, etc, be affected. Why, because the left does not consider them biased. They are considered mainstream and balanced. This is exactly the answer Bernard Goldberg received from Dan Rather when asked.[2] This was the beginning of the end of his career for raising the question in the first place. Liberals do not allow questions. Questions could expose the truth.
I hope this scares you. I hope you contact your Representative or Senator before they pass a law forbidding you to contact them. They are just getting too busy to listen to the “little people.”[3] I hope you will contact them about the fairness doctrine. And most important I hope you will watch them and call them to account and ask the questions. We need to keep asking the questions and exposing lies when we find them and standing for the truth regardless.
Thanks for listening. This is what I think. What about you?
[1] Read a fascinating account of America’s current Marxists revolution by a man who has been through one. The book is America’s 30 Years War: Who Is Winning by Balint Vazsonyi. It seems that it takes a Vzsonyi or a Solzhenitzin to get Americans to listen to what is happening to us.
[2] I highly recommend Bernard Goldberg’s book, Bias. It simply confirms and documents what most of us have known for years.
[3] If you haven’t read them in the past couple of years I urge you to read Orwell’s Animal Farm and 1984. He understood how what is happening to us happens.

Sir, keep writing about this subject. Keep it up. The schools are humanist 're-education camps', the evolutionists adher to their humanist manifesto (in part or in whole). Most of the 'free educational discourse' that once was a mark of scholarship has been replaced by Marxist Darwinsm. Even the so-called Christian teachers that one occasionally runs across often have their minds polluted with theistic evolution - and they push it hard on their young charges!
We have GOT to be the salt to this wayward generation. God knows, it was partly my fault that it got so bad in the first place. We should have stood up and stood firm sooner! We should have risked our reputations and faced off the godless hoards that often unwittingly make a way of destruction for our children and the subsequent generations. The longer it goes on without being checked, the harder it is to effect any change.

Know what really reminds me of the authoritarian soviet union? Efforts of the current administration curtailing free speech, freedom of the press, freedom of religion, marriage rights, and a lack of concern for the poor. An obsession with war and an enormous military also echo the soviets.
So christian groups now have to play by the same rules as every other interest group. This is unfair how? You complain because you're losing entitlement, not because you're being oppressed. The least you could do is be honest about what you're complaining about. Click here to reply to this post

If you could, could you please be more detailed on what on earth you are talking about? What do you mean by 'marriage rights' or 'freedom of the press', etc.? Have a great day! Click here to reply to this post

for example, the push for an amendment banning gay marriage on the part of the federal administration, and actual banning and removal of adoption rights in several states. on the issue of free speech, Dick cheney's attitude towards the new york times, repeatedly calling it treasonous, and the president's allegation that 'it's not ok to think' about what is reported about the war. additionally keeping images of coffins being shown, as well as the recent suppression of a CBS report about the violence in baghdad, and the arrest of protesters, those asking hard questions during presidential appearances, and even those wearing , 'offensive shirts' are all victims of a curtailed freedom of speech Click here to reply to this post

murder? Should the govt. have laws against murder? I mean, it might be an expression of religious free speech, like 9/11. I don't know all the facts about CBS and the like, but homosexuality is wrong, as is adultery, lying, murdering, etc. because God says that, not man. In Canada right now, there are laws that are being (or have been) passed that say that you can't even say that homosexuality is wrong! Pastors have been arrested and fined for that, as well in other countries! As far as the Marriage Amendment, think of it this way: God says that marriage is to be between one man and one woman for life. All the govt. is doing is asserting that it agrees with what God is saying marriage is! Anyway, have a great day and God Bless! Click here to reply to this post
